These Terms of Sale govern your use of this website and every order placed through it. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who you are buying from

We are an authorized European distributor of Imperial Porcelain Factory (Lomonosov) products. We are not affiliated with any other reseller of these goods.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. We sell to individual consumers for personal use. Orders that appear to be for resale may be declined.

3. Products, images and descriptions

Our porcelain is hand-finished. Variations in hand painting, gilding, glaze and shade are inherent to the process and are not defects. Product photographs are representative; the exact piece you receive may differ slightly in these details. Dimensions and volumes are approximate and given as a guide.

We make every effort to describe products accurately, but we do not warrant that descriptions, images or other content are entirely free of error.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of applicable sales tax, which is calculated and displayed at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

Payment is taken in full when you place your order. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; we do not receive or store your full card number. Charges appear on your statement as IMPERIAL PORCELAIN HOUSE.

If a price or product detail is listed in error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund you in full, even after an order confirmation has been sent.

5. When your order becomes a contract

Your order is an offer to buy. Our automatic order confirmation email acknowledges that we received it, but the contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods. Until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if a pricing error occurred, or if we suspect fraud — and we will refund you in full.

6. Shipping, delivery and delays

We ship from Tallinn, Estonia to street addresses throughout the United States. Orders are handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days of payment; most parcels arrive within 1–2 weeks of shipping. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout by weight and destination. Every shipment is tracked and insured against loss and damage at no extra cost.

If we cannot ship your order within 30 days of purchase, we will notify you by email with a revised shipping date. You may accept the new date or cancel for a full refund. If we do not hear from you, we cancel the order and refund you automatically.

Risk of loss and damage passes to you on delivery. Title passes on delivery.

7. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Unused, unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, less original shipping. Return shipping is at your expense unless the return results from our error or damage in transit. Custom, commissioned and made-to-order pieces, gift cards and final-sale items are not returnable.

8. Damaged, lost or incorrect shipments

Report any damage, loss or incorrect item within 7 days of delivery to info@lomonosov-porcelain.net, with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging. Keep the packaging until the claim is resolved. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

9. Product use and safety

Our porcelain is intended for food contact and normal domestic use. Pieces decorated with gold or platinum must never be used in a microwave and should be hand washed. Please follow the guidance on our Care of Porcelain page; damage caused by dishwasher use, microwave use or thermal shock on decorated pieces is not covered by any warranty.

California residents: a Proposition 65 warning applies to decorated tableware and is published on our Customer Service page.

10. Warranty and disclaimer

We warrant that goods are delivered free of manufacturing defects and match their description. Beyond this and beyond any rights you have under applicable law, products are supplied “as is” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill.

12. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photographs, logos and design — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission. Imperial Porcelain Factory trademarks belong to their owner.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site fraudulently, not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, and not to scrape, copy or resell its content. We may suspend or refuse service to anyone who does.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

15. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs delays, carrier disruption, changes in tariff or export rules, natural disasters, strikes or armed conflict.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.

18. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with the Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Imperial Porcelain House LLC in relation to your order.
