Anna Yatskevich’s Cobalt Net is painted by hand here, under the glaze and over it, with gold, on Serafima Yakovleva’s Tulip shape. The cup and saucer are classic hard-paste porcelain from the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg; the material has a slight gray cast.
Brim-full, the cup holds 150 ml (5.1 fl oz), so in practice it takes about 10–15% less. The cup is 9.1 cm (3.6 in) long, 7.5 cm (3 in) wide, and 5.8 cm (2.3 in) tall, and its unglazed rim is polished smooth. The saucer measures 11.7 cm (4.6 in) in diameter and 2 cm (0.8 in) in height.
Yatskevich (1904–1952) was a porcelain painter at the factory from 1932 to 1952. Yakovleva (1910–1993), a sculptor and Honored Artist of the RSFSR, created the Tulip shape in 1936.
To keep the gold in good condition, hand wash with liquid detergent and a soft sponge; a dishwasher can dull or wear it over time. Keep it out of the microwave.

Insured shipping to the United States and Canada
Every order is packed by hand at our fulfillment center in Tallinn, Estonia. Orders with gift packaging need one additional business day.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and the weight of your order. The cost includes insurance against loss and breakage. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included; if any are due, the carrier collects them at delivery.
We offer one method: insured shipping. Your order is handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days of payment, and most orders arrive within 1–2 weeks of shipping. Delivery can take longer around holidays and during peak customs periods.
When your order ships, we'll email you the tracking number. If you can't find the email, please check your spam folder.

We ship to street addresses in the United States and Canada. We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses, because every package requires a signature on delivery.
