This vase puts Anna Yatskevich’s Cobalt Net on Vladimir Gorodetsky’s Flower shape. It is cast by hand in hard-paste porcelain at the Imperial Porcelain Factory, and the pattern goes on as an underglaze decal with painting in gold. The vase has been in production since 2012.
It stands 23.8 cm (9.4 in) tall, measures 11.3 cm (4.4 in) in diameter, and holds 1,480 ml (50 fl oz).
Yatskevich (1904–1952) painted porcelain at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory from 1932 to 1952 and received the Order of the Red Star in 1944. Her Cobalt Net won a gold medal at the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair. Gorodetsky (1924–1977) joined the factory as an artist and sculptor in 1947. He studied under Nikolai Suetin and Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya and worked mostly in underglaze painting.
